Time Trials are an opportunity to put race skills into practice. This is an important part of a swimmer's training and your assistance on Friday nights is essential. Time keepers, recorder and marshals are all required as well as assistance in setting up. The coaches will assist the swimmers, however chairs and Dolphin watches are all needed to be put out.
With the assistance of parents help, these jobs will take very little time and allow the evening to run smoothly and efficiently. No experience is necessary. There is always someone available to provide help and training.
For swimmers to participate at Time Trials a parent must be in attendance to time keep. If not, the swimmer may not be eligible to swim on the night.
Time Trials are held on a Friday night at the Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre with warm up commencing at 6pm and racing from 6:30pm. Entries must be submitted by 9.00pm on the Wednesday evening prior.
